I have always loved cooking and experimenting with new foods, and if I could create a site that was unique to my tastes, I thought it would be a fun way to spend part of my day. My food philosophy is pretty simple. I eat healthful vegetarian meals, trying to incorporate as many whole foods as possible. I think when you cook your own food, and minimize take-out, you can get away with eating pretty much anything in moderation - just steer clear from ingredients you can't pronounce. I try to avoid dairy for the most part, mostly for skin reasons, but if I do make a dish that requires cheese, I use the real thing, in small quantities. I do love sweets, and when I do make them, I don't skimp on flavor or fat. I believe if you are going to indulge in the occasional sweet, use the real (organic) stuff - real butter, sugar, eggs, oil (unless you're vegan).
